We are a church that is passionate about their Pentecostal heritage.
Jesus is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit and by the Spirit we can walk in health, that sickness is our enemy, and healing is our inheritance, that we can walk in total freedom, and are Heaven bound.
We have the privilege of sharing this message through both proclamation and demonstration.
Psalm 68:5
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.
In this passage, we get a glimpse into the nature of God
This is His character. He is a Father to the Fatherless and He is a defender of the widows.
Psalm 105:6
The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.
I wonder if we really understand how PASSIONATELY God cares for those who are oppressed.
Matthew 28:16-20 (KJV)
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
John 4:23-24 (KJV)
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
God is seeking those who will enthusiastically seek His presence, those that are passionate about their worship, those that are hungry for more of Him.
I wonder what that looks like.
It’s time that we become intentional about destroying the barriers in the church.
We need to find ways to be intentional about blessing our city.
Is it possible for us to impact the city of Louisville? YES!
1 Kings 5:17 (NLT)
17 At the king’s command, they quarried large blocks of high-quality stone and shaped them to make the foundation of the Temple.
