Welcome to Site 61

After having many inquiring about the possibility of us starting a Sunday church we decided that it was time as a result Site 61 was born. Site 61 is taking from Isaiah 61 which is a prophetic word about the Messiah and why He was coming to Earth. It also declares that the Messiah and His followers would rebuild the ruined cities.

Each Monday we are feeding their bodies but also their spirit and souls as well.

Our goal is to raise up disciples who will truly be salt and light.

After working in the Portland community for over 12 years our Portland neighbors were asking us to start a church. Every week we have our food pantry and currently are serving an average of 100 families. Each Monday we are feeing their bodies but also their spirit and souls as well. Site 61 meets every Sunday at 5pm and we minister the message of grace, identity, and finished work of the cross. We are seeing people giving their hearts to the Lord each and every week. Our goal is to raise up disciples who will truly be salt and light. Both salt and light are transforming agents meaning they transform their surroundings. Site 61 exists to transform their culture as Jesus taught us – to bring Heaven to Earth. You will love our services at Site 61 and the community of believers who really love each other. We’re not interested in just being a church but we want to be a real community who love each other. We also have a fellowship meal every Sunday following our celebration service.
